Black and white patterns appear all over nature in many forms. Think of the stripes of a zebra, the dots on a dalmatian or the plumage of the razorbill! How can we use this as inspiration when designing a composition? JOIN US as we explore a work from the MDC Permanent Art Collection by conceptual artist Mel Bochner, who used a combination of Typography and a black and white palette. We invite YOU to create your very own design using a combination of shapes, letters, patterns and black and white for an afternoon full of creativity and curiosity!
