French Arts Associates intends to offer a platform to connect like-minded individuals in the Miami Arts community.

Panelists and guests speakers will include experts from different art professions, exploring all the aspects of the ever-changing art world and market.

French Arts Associates will help Arts professionals by accelerating the growth of collaboration through high-impact programming, informative sessions and by creating opportunities to gather, learn from each other and build relationships. Each month, the art community will have a place to connect to make things happen.

The April Breakfast Talk Series # 2 will host breakfast in the studio of Miami-based artist Alette Simmons-Jimenez, where she will give a talk on discovering ways to have meaningful arts encounters in our Miami cultural scene.

Alette Simmons-Jimenez is an artist, an art designer, and a cultural organizer. She has internationally exhibited her works in museums and in galleries in Europe, Asia, and in Americas. She has been a recipient of numerous grants including the Knight Arts Challenge Grant. In 2004 she developed Artformz Alternative as an artist’s collective project and is also an avid supporter of women art leaders and was the key person in bringing the Florida Chapter of ArtTable, Inc. to the front of South Florida cultural activities. Arttable is a New York-based organization for women leaders in the art industry.
