No one parties during the holidays better than Puerto Ricans and leave it to up to the beloved Chef Jose Mendín and Goya’s Executive Chef Fernando Desa to bring great food, tradition and a parranda like no other. This Thursday, December 13th, 2018 Jose Mendín and Fernando Desa team up again to host a popular feast featuring a collection of traditional Puerto Rican dishes served family-style at Mendin’s soon-to-open La Placita restaurant.

This epic parranda, a Puerto Rican tradition where friends gather to surprise other friends, also known as the Puerto Rican version of Christmas caroling, will have two seatings – 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Guests can expect some Puerto Rican favorites such as piononos, pasteles de pollo and a customary lechon asado, amongst others.

Reservations include a reception at the bar and lounge area, a private showing of Mendin’s new restaurant- La Placita, dinner and an official after party for $65 per person (plus tax and gratuities $81.25). Cocktails will be available for guests to purchase.
