The Favorite Poem Project is dedicated to celebrating, documenting and encouraging poetry’s role in the lives of Americans. The project was founded by Robert Pinsky, 39th Poet Laureate of the United States, and launched in the State of Florida in 2015.

On Saturday, April 2, Poetry Foundation, The Wolfsonian, and O, Miami celebrate the winners of Favorite Poem Project Florida with readings by and screenings of Floridians reciting the poems they hold most dear, with a special recitation by host and former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky.
