Eddie Palmieri’s career as a bandleader of Salsa and Latin Jazz orchestras spans over 50 years. Known for his charismatic power and bold, innovative drive, Mr. Palmieri has been awarded Nine Grammy Awards and compiled a discography that includes 36 titles. Now in its eighth year, Miami Dade College Kendall Campus’ Jazz Under the Stars has featured some of the biggest names in Latin music and jazz, including Jon Secada, Arturo Sandoval, Nestor Torres, Albita, Los Herederos, Poncho Sanchez, and more.
