Led by singer Johnny Aguilo, Conjunto Progresso is considered one of the finest “keepers-of-the-flame” orchestras in the states. The conjunto sound, replete with tres finesse (Jose Elias), with powerful sones and deep-groove descarga jams, is alive and well.
