This fall, the Centro Mater Foundation will host a community celebration of urban art, music and entertainment aimed at raising funds for the in-need children serviced by Centro Mater Child Care Services, Inc. Slated to take place on the evening of Friday, November 14, 2014 at the exciting and original MAPS Backlot (342 NW 24th Street) in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District, the Centro Mater event will welcome guests to a thrilling, interactive evening of community fun.

Breaking away from the traditional gala, the “Urban MATERs” event will aim to connect individuals with their art and music-filled surroundings, as well as with each other. Designed as an upscale, urban art fair, the unique evening will offer revelers tastes from some of the city’s best food trucks, cocktails, wine and craft beer, and live music and performances. Artistic expressions will include live art displays, performance art, opportunities to create your own masterpieces, and more.
