Carla Fache opens her studio for Art Basel Week
Miami, FL December 4, 2012- Miami artist Carla Fache will be opening the doors of her Art studio for Art Basel week on Saturday, December 8th.
Visitors will have the opportunity to have an intimate look inside the artist’s studio, learn more about her new works, and meet the artist in person.
In her studio, Fache will have some of her recent works in exhibition. Among them, “Connection”, an acrylic on canvas painting that was selected as one of the top finalists works in the recent Artist Wanted global competition.
“Opening the doors of my studio is like opening the door of color to my canvas’s mental space”, explains Fache.
During Art Basel week, Fache’s works are also being displayed at the Florida Museum for Women Artist- in Deeland, and at the Miami Independent Thinkers Fair, a Miami Art Basel Satellite fair designed to highlight local talent, which will be open from December 6 to 9 at the Armory Studios in Wynwood, 572 NW 23rd.

About the Artist Carla Fache:
Born in 1977 in Santiago, Chile. Lives and work in Miami since 2001.
Since 2011 she is based at the Fountainhead Studios, Miami Florida.
Carla Fache is a visual artist whose command of color, raw geometrics, texture and absence of stroke, along with her continuous exploration of the essential and the primitive, are part of the most recognizable drivers of her works.
Fache’s first exhibition in USA was held in 2001 at the Miami Design Art District. Up to date she has had 73 “solo” art exhibitions and 132 group exhibitions.
Some of the places where her work has been exhibited are: Art Miami, Art L.A. Art Philadelphia, Cisneros Fontanels Arts Foundation, The Bass Museum of Art, Lowe Art Museum, Latin American Art Museum, MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art, Museo de Bellas Artes de Cordova, Argentina, Coral Gables Museum, among others. Her work has been included in many publications, such as: “Celeste Prize” Italy, “New York Art Collectors Book” NY, USA, “Five centuries of Art” LA, USA, “Libro de Arte Ibero Americano Contemporaneo”, Argentina and “Studio Visit Magazine” by New American Paintings USA.
