Jai-Alai Books and O, Miami invite you to celebrate the release of My First Bikini, the first United States publication by acclaimed Spanish poet Elena Medel, translated by Lizzie Davis.

Join us for an old-fashioned, decadent literary party with cocktails by the pool and a special synchronized swimming performance coordinated by the TM Sisters. Hosted by The Vagabond Motel, the Bikini release party is part of our on-going attempt to bring wasteful exuberance back to the literary world.

If you can’t make it, Elena Medel and Alberto Acerete––another acclaimed Spanish poet––will star in a special O, Miami edition of The Betsy-South Beach’s “Escribe Aqui” reading series the very next night.
