new works by Claudio Picasso (CP1) & Paola Delfin

We’re excited to be featuring two unique artists at the gallery this year for our Miami Art Week exhbition:

Claudio Picasso (CP1) (Miami) and Paola Delfin (Mexico) both focus on aspects of human anatomy in their work. One manages to showcase the emotions of his subjects, while the other captures the beauty in the movements of the human form.

Claudio has worked for years to perfect his sectional studies of human expression with his slices series. All created freehand with spray paint, the works appear to be photographs in their attention to detail; but using subtle tones of color, also achieve an effect beyond photography, evoking the emotion behind the eyes.

Paola on the other hand, endeavors to explore topics related to beauty and feminine sensibility. She is able to depict a vast range of incredible contrasts and movements with the fluid style she has refined using a mix of different materials. With each piece, she attempts to find a way for the depicted motion to give it a life of its own.

Coming together, these two artists from different cities will showcase their work in an attempt to explore the dichotomy of the human experience, constantly struggling to find balance between the physical and the emotional.

Please join us for the opening reception on November 27th, from 6-10pm. There will be refreshments courtesy of New Belgium Brewing, and tunes by DJ Exes.

The show will be on display from the 27th til the 6th (with a closing reception on the 6th from 4-8pm).
It will be available to visit Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 12pm-4pm or by appointment.
