FREE! A night of music and poetry, featuring the Queen of Haitian Song Emeline Michel. Emeline is joined by her band and some special friends including author Edwidge Danticat and Koralen.

The night opens with the award-winning North Miami Senior High Marching Band, and the winners of the Consulates General of France and Haiti’s Dis Moi Dix Mots French language poetry competition. Plus the wonderful DJ Mack of Mizikpam.com between sets, delicious kreyol cuisine from Leela’s, ice cold Prestige Beer and other beverages, art activities for kids hosted by Positive Impact and the Bass Museum of Art, a new visual arts exhibition in the gallery, and open studios at the Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance. Whew!
