bassX presents Rachel Harrison
October 14 - November 15 2015
All Day
Stop by bassX, the Bass Museum of Art’s new pop-up gallery in the Miami Beach Library, hosting a series of artists projects during the museum’s renovation. On display until November 15th is Rachel Harrison’s “Voyage of the Beagle, Two,” portraying what she calls ‘modern-day menhirs’ inspired by prehistoric standing stone sculptures she encountered during a trip to Corsica. The work’s title refers to the notebook Charles Darwin kept during his scientific excursions. The gallery is free and open to the public!
