A visual and literary workshop inspired by the raw expression of Antoni Tàpies, a Spanish artist who integrated materials from everyday life into art.

Participants will learn to communicate basic powerful human emotion through common, earthy and “poor”​ materials.

Users will use gestural mark-making, coarse physical textures, use of non-art materials, and a restricted color palette in an effort to break down the boundaries between art and life.
