8th ANNUAL MiFo LGBT FILM FESTIVAL: OCTOBER 7 – 16, 2016
The 8th Annual MiFo LGBT Film Festival (www.mifofilm.com) kicks off its Fort Lauderdale edition on Friday, October 7, 2016, with two weekends of dramas, comedies and documentaries that touch upon various aspects of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) life.
As one of the most highly regarded LGBT film festivals in the nation, MiFo will showcase nearly 50 films from all corners of the globe and features a whirlwind of parties and special events, including an elegant Opening Night extravaganza at the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale.
Screenings will take place at the Classic Gateway Theatre, 1820 East Sunrise Boulevard and Cinema Paradiso, 503 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale.
