New Times Broward/Palm Beach’s 16th-Annual Beerfest went down on April 6, 2013. This years Beerfest featured local/international craft beers, interactive games, good food, andlive musical performances by local favorites The Hongs, Modernage, Beatmachines, and The Tremends.
Trek6, the man behind the infamous “Boombox” in Wynwood, has been a contributing member of Miami’s blooming street art scene since the late 80s with over a dozen murals throughout the great City of Miami.
Taking his street art to the canvas, Trek6 celebrated the unveiling of his first solo exhibit, ”Through the Looking Glass” at Hand Crafted Miami on Saturday, March 16th with pure aerosol pieces that pay tribute to the likes of Andy Warhol and Jackie O sporting eyewear from the Eyemax Collection.
Talk about making an entrance! Immersed in water at the entrance of the Miami Beach Botanical Garden is Idan Zareski’s impactful Bigfoot sculpture.
On November 27th, right on time for Basel, the Bigfoot sculpture was unveiled to press and media. Naturally, we we’re present and got some great shots of the sculpture and its maker, Idan Zareski.
