As I warmly recall the wild summer nights that I first hit the scene, when Jennys Was A Friend of Mine and together we discovered on the dance floor the kind of magic that took us to Such Great Heights and back again; I realize that no matter what the current trend is, Miami needs an indie dance party!
The District may not be around anymore but luckily The Vagabond has “reloaded” their weekly Friday party with an arsenal of indie dance magic; guaranteed to bring back that Electric Feel and give the Young FolkWhat You Want and the rest of us what we need – indie rock, dirty disco, house, and electro beats!
Although we knocked out early Friday night, exhausted from getting everything ready to rock and roll for The Artisans Garden the following evening, our buddy Daniel De Las Casas hit up The Vagabond for what we heard was a kick-ass show and got some great shots of the Hunters Of The Alps performance!
This weekend, venture over to the dark side for Art Nights aka the official after-parties for DWNTWN Art Days hosted by The Vagabond and yours truly.

Somehow, amidst all that madness, Entresol’s founder and frontman, Eduardo Rivadeneira, still found time to sit down and talk with us about his music, his machines, and the Miami music scene.
As it turns out, this was only his second interview ever, and the first one never even got published. That makes this the first official interview with Entresol, so read on and catch your first reverent glimpse into the mind of a local legend in the making. Continue Reading
