In 1983, Hec One Love traveled to NYC as a wide-eyed teenager, when he returned to Miami he set upon a personal self-imposed mission to bring the vibrant street culture he had seen to his hometown, Since then he went on to create the first Miami Graffiti Wall of Fame, took part in the first ever Graffiti Art exhibit in Miami and influenced dozens of Miami’s most influential writers. That was 30 years ago. Today Hec is better known for his massive colorful LOVEISM murals and iconic dripping stickers around Wynwood, and has garnered the support of many, from the legendary FUTURA to the late Tony Goldman.

On the last weekend of August, Hec One Love will open the doors to his latest creation: The Loveism Pop Up Shop in Wynwood. The hybrid Gallery/Shop will be the official launch of Loveism apparel line. “I wanted to provide an avenue for my fans to support the Loveism movement at any level, big or small. Whether you buy an original painting or a more affordable limited edition print or simply a Loveism tshirt. The idea is simple, when you buy something here, you know you are funding a piece of a future Loveism wall somewhere, you are directly supporting a future project of the Loveism campaign, you are helping me build this movement, piece by piece”

The Loveism Pop Up Shop opens Friday, October 25 and runs through Sunday, October 27 at Wyn 317 Gallery, 167 NW 25 Street in the heart of Wynwood.
